I was picking out some coloring books for my friends children when she informed me that she would like to get a couple of books too. This is a 30 something year old woman. She then began picking out colored pencils as well with a gleam in her eye like a kid in a candy store. She couldnt wait to get home and start coloring in her new books. She picked Barbie Doll, princess type books and methodically chose what colors she would use for the first picture.
After watching how mesmerized she was while filling in the images with her newly sharpened pencils, I decided I wanted to color as well. Although the images I colored werent exactly inspirational to me, I enjoyed the experience overall. The next day, I decided I wanted to get my own coloring book with a new set of colored pens. I bought a book full of pictures of mandalas (a circle with complex designs in it). The designs were beautiful and I could imagine them once I filled them with color.
There is one universal rule when coloring in a coloring book that we all learn in kindergarten. That rule is that we should all try to color with in the lines, we can color with whatever colors we want but we need to try to stay with-in the lines. This article will share a solution to a very common Team Performance Problem; its not unusual to find teams not working together. They sometimes seem to work in small groups or alone and can often be found working against each other.
Think about it this way; would you rather spend about an hours looking over and printing out SpongeBob coloring pages, or would you prefer to drive all over the place looking for a SpongeBob coloring book? The answer to this really depends upon whether the website, or websites, you are visiting have the coloring pages of SpongeBob Squarepants that you really want. Chances are that the website/websites that you decide to look on will have the images that you are looking for; yet you might not always find what you are looking for out there. Do you realize that you can have as much fun looking for the SpongeBob coloring pages that you want as you will when you sit down to actually color those pages?

Coloring is a great way to bond. Ask your friends over for some wine, cheese and coloring. Perhaps at first they might look at you with skeptical eyes and doubt; but hand over a fresh sheet of paper, some vibrant or glitter colored pens and in just minutes you will not be able to pry those colors out of their fingers. Soon you will be visiting easily, looking over at each-others masterpieces from time to time to admire their selection of colors. You will begin to feel like you have time-traveled back into grade 2 and you do not really want to leave. Coloring is freeing and has no expectations. The beautiful thing about this craft is that there is no pressure to finish, to use a certain color or even to stay in the lines!!! There is absolute freedom involved in those precious hours where you just get to color.
So weve identified that every new skill that we learn requires a step-by-step approach. Youll notice that even coloring in can be broken down in smaller steps in terms of the stages of the development of this type of skill. A child will begin by simple learning how to pick up and hold a crayon or colored pencil. Then they will learn how to apply the color onto the paper. Youll notice that your child goes over the lines of the outlined drawing at first but dont worry, this is only natural. Your child will soon learn how to color within the outlined areas. You should encourage your child to select different colors for different parts of the drawing.
The repetitive, low-stress, and "no brainer" act of color lends itself to relaxation. The calming effects not only helps to reduce stress levels, but also can help to bring you back to your youth. The awesome part is that anyone can do it will no skill set required! Grab a crayon and you are good to go. You can make it even more enjoyable and have your kids or grandkids color with you. Depending on the age of the young ones they may be interested in the adult coloring books, others still wanting to color a cow, astronaut, or pretty flower arrangement.

Coloring in pages that are specific for coloring. I have found a few websites that have pages to color that are downloadable. You can also try a resource store for teachers. These specific pages for coloring are pictures or drawings of a variety of design that you alone enjoy. You can make your own coloring book with these pages. After coloring the designs you can write your own narrative about how you feel. Write how the design itself and the colors you used relieved your stress. You can even write a short story about the design if you like, this is your project and it is for your eyes only.
