When I was a child I just loved to draw and paint but, as I remember, before I even could begin to draw accurately I used to color in. The next stage was to learn to draw using stencils and then I graduated to be able to draw freehand which provided me with an absolutely fantastic sense of achievement. I went on to love drawing but the point I am trying to make is that it all started with the simple yet effective art of coloring in!
One great family bonding that I can suggest for a family who has a small child with them is coloring books. The majority of the children love to paint and color pictures that are create to serve with that purpose. As parents, you can give them a hand in accomplishing this task. Why not give them a portion of your valuable time so that you wont give them reason to be revolted with you for acting the part of being their parents? I, myself adore coloring books. I can envision how my mother and I will try to color pages. She would teach me how to color pictures and what hue should I apply to a certain part of the image. Green for the leaves and red for the petals.... I can still remember the exact picture that we always trace and color.
So why the fascination, and how can they help you? In the most basic sense, the act of applying colored media to intricate line drawings is a benefit to relaxation and stress reduction. You are able to put the outside world aside for the moment and focus on the art of coloring singularly. Studies have shows that anxiety levels dropped in adults that colored. They did note that simple doodling had no affect on anxiety. The focus on coloring and switching off the brain allows that blocking of anxiety in the moment. Coloring does not have a need for complicated thought processes and like listening to calming music, you are able to get within yourself, isolated from external anxiety, commotion, and distractions.
Determine your childs level when it comes to coloring. Some color books provide large coloring spaces making it easier for children to color the page, stay in the lines, etc. As the child gets older, their skill level for coloring increases as well, and the difficulty of the book may as well. Some coloring books come with written instructions, and other games, such as a dot to dot, or a maze. If you want to keep your child happy, and still challenge them, choose coloring or activity books in their range or level, and do not frustrate them with books that have too small of pictures, or too many spaces to color, or written instructions.
Now lets take a look at how a kindergarten coloring book can actually help you rebuild your team. Well the first rule is that we stay within the lines, and not stray all over the page. There is a time to color on a page with no lines, such as when youre looking for people on your team to think creatively. But in this case were looking for a group of people to work together.

The computer and the internet have opened an entirely new spectrum of coloring and drawing. Adults now make very sizable livings creating, drawing and coloring pictures for computer animation including video games, movies, commercials and items most adults would never consider, such as some high-quality information websites. With this option available as a full-fledged career for adults, it is no wonder that the tools and formats used in this style of artwork have carried down to children, albeit on a smaller scale.
Coloring books generally have a theme of sorts. It might be that they are based on a Disney movie, or it is about animals, or vehicles, or something else. When selecting books for your children, remember that they will want to express their creativity, and will have a lot of fun with any coloring book, but will be more interested in a coloring booklet with a theme that appeals to them. Choose a color book that features their favorite characters, or the item of interest in their life. For example, if your little boy just loves trains, get a Thomas the Train coloring book. If your little girl is as girly as they come, look for the Disney Princess coloring book, or possibly Strawberry Shortcake.
Some websites offer very basic coloring pages for kids that can be printed off and colored. Others create interactive coloring pages that require children to work on the computer itself to color the images. Unlike the basic websites, the interactive coloring pages are often found on more complex websites that act as a full-fledged community. The coloring pages are only one of many things available to do on a particular site.
